Frequently Asked Questions

What size Wheeldesk is right for me? 
For cars, SUVs, mini vans, or pickup trucks, select from the Notebook, Executive or Contractor desk.  Following are the dimensions and features of these desks:

Notebook:  15 1/4″ x 13 1/4″   The “Notebook” Wheeldesk will hold most laptops, tablets, books or phones.  It is also well suited as a stable writing surface.

Executive:  17 3/4″ X 14 1/2″. The “Executive” Wheeldesk is a bit larger than the “Notebook.” It has two pencil grooves and provides more space to do your work

Contractor: 22 3/4″ X 16 1/2″. The “Contractor” Wheeldesk is our largest desk.  It will accommodate your laptop and external mouse and mouse pad, tablet, phone etc. This desk has pencil grooves and three holes at the top left corner for pens, keys, sharpie etc

***Note:  The Traveler Wheeldesk is specifically designed to fit most Semi truck, bus, and Class-A motorhome steering wheels

What is the Wheeldesk made from? 

The Wheeldesk is made on our state-of-the-art CNC machine, using premium quality, 7/16” thick, 100% sustainable Southern Yellow Pine MDF (medium density fiberboard).  For durability, it has a vinyl coating on the front and back.

Are there other uses for the Wheeldesk?

Yes.  Some customers will mount the Wheeldesk at the bottom of their steering wheel and use it as a “table.”  Note:  On some steering wheels, it is necessary to rotate the wheel to allow placement at the bottom.

Another potential use is laying the Wheeldesk on the user’s lap while getting some extra work from home. In this situation, the Wheeldesk makes working more comfortable, and protects the user from the heat generated by the laptop.

 

Note:  The Wheeldesk should only be used in your vehicle when you are safely parked.  It should never be used while driving.
